The 2022 Audi Q5 topped the non‑hybrid list at 5.6L/100km, while Toyota swept all five hybrid spots. Even EVs saw shake‑ups, with the 2025 Kia EV3 delivering the longest real‑world range at 537km. RACQ says choosing the right car could save drivers thousands over its lifetime, especially as bowser prices keep climbing.
