Entries have officially opened for the 2026 Australian Effie Awards, inviting brands, agencies, and marketing teams across the country to submit campaigns that demonstrate measurable business impact.
The Australian Effie Awards are widely recognised as a benchmark for marketing effectiveness, honouring work that delivers proven results rather than focusing solely on creativity. The awards celebrate strategic thinking, execution excellence, and tangible outcomes across various industries.
This year’s call for entries is supported by a national campaign developed by BMF Australia, reinforcing the message that successful marketing must connect strategy with performance. The initiative highlights the importance of accountability and measurable success in an increasingly data-driven industry.
The 2026 awards program features expanded opportunities for collaboration across brand, creative, and media partners. Several updated and new categories have been introduced, including International Marketing, Health Marketing, Sponsorship Activity, and Best New Entrant. Specialist categories recognising media-led innovation and performance-driven campaigns have also been refined.
Industry organisers say the awards continue to grow in relevance as marketers face increased expectations to justify return on investment and demonstrate clear business outcomes. To support entrants, educational sessions will be offered outlining judging criteria and best practices for case submissions.
More than 30 categories are open for submission, with entries to be reviewed by industry leaders and experts before finalists and winners are announced later in the year.
