Brisbane Libraries Launch Free Summer Reading Program for 2025-2026
Brisbane City Council is inviting readers of all ages and interests to join the free Brisbane Libraries Summer Reading Program. The annual initiative aims to encourage the public to experience the joy of reading over the summer by combining reading activities with library engagement.
The program officially runs from Monday 1 December 2025 to Saturday 31 January 2026. The challenge will be hosted by Council's 33 libraries, the Mobile Library, and the Pop-Up Library. Registrations for the Summer Reading program are now open.
